HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN

John 3:7  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 

Luke 24:47  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 

Why would we need to repent from sin, Most people think that they are good people. No one is good, as we read in the bible.

Mark 10:17  And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to Him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? Mark 10:18  And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 

So who is lying Us or JESUS? Only GOD THE FATHER is good.

The problem is that we measure our selves, compared to our surrounding fellow men, and not after GOD's morale law.

Acts 3:19  Repent Ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 

Jesus is coming back for His bride, and if you don't get born again before He comes, you will be left behind, together with the 5 foolish virgins.

THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS

Matthew 25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Matthew 25:2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Matthew 25:3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: Matthew 25:4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Matthew 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. Matthew 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Matthew 25:7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. Matthew 25:8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. Matthew 25:9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. Matthew 25:10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Matthew 25:11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. Matthew 25:12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Matthew 25:13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. 

If you are born again, have oil (The Holy Spirit) on your lamp, and expect Jesus to come and pick you up, at this day, for the wedding.

You will recieve a glorified new body.

So let us see what is required to be born again!

As we talked about earlier we have GOD's Morale Law.

If you as a patient go to the doctor to get answers from x-rays, and you think you are healthy, fit, and don't think you are sick.

What should the doctor do? Should he give you the cure, or show you the x-rays first?

Most people would say he should give you the cure, but if you think you are healthy, you don't need a cure.

If the doctor knows what he is doing, he first shows you the x-rays, so you know you need the cure.

Likewise if you think you are without sin, you don't think you need GOD's salvation. So here is the x-rays, for you to know you need a savior, and are guilty of sins, just as the rest of us.

Luk 5:31  And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. Luk 5:32  I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Exodus 20:1  And God spake all these words, saying, Exodus 20:2  I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exodus 20:3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:4  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Exodus 20:5  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Exodus 20:6  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:7  Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Exodus 20:8  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:9  Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: Exodus 20:10  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: Exodus 20:11  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:12  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:13  Thou shalt not kill. Exodus 20:14  Thou shalt not commit adultery. Exodus 20:15  Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:16  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Exodus 20:17  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. Exodus 20:18  And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. Exodus 20:19  And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. Exodus 20:20  And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. Exodus 20:21  And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. 

First we want to say that, we have all violated GOD's Morale Law.

Lets go deeper into the commandments!

Exodus 20:3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:4  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 

Many people violate these two commandments, by making up their own imaginative version of a snuggle cuddle GOD they can negotiate with, on their own terms.

Let's look at another commandment.

Exodus 20:7  Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Would you use your mother's name as a curse word?

Most people would not, but most people have used GOD's name as a cuss-word.

Exodus 20:12  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 

Let's look at another commandment.

Exodus 20:13  Thou shalt not kill. 

ANGER

Matthew 5:21  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: Matthew 5:22  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 

Exodus 20:14  Thou shalt not commit adultery. 

LUST

Matthew 5:27  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: Matthew 5:28  But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:29  And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:30  And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

GOD is not literal here, He is just telling how serious He takes sin.

If you think you did not commit adultery, we will ask you:

Have you ever looked at porn?

That is lust, and fornication / adultery.

Exodus 20:15  Thou shalt not steal.

Stealing is not trusting GOD to provide all your needs.

Did you know GOD pays you for your sins?

But He also offers you a way out of a sinfull life!

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 

GOD pays you your wages.

We all earned the wages of death, and we can be certain that we will die, as a consequence, and the wage of sin.

2 Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 

Acts 5:31  Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 3:26  Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

1 Corinthians 6:9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 1 Corinthians 6:10  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Do you know what GOD did, so sinfull people don't need to go to hell?

Most people know that Jesus Christ died, so we don't have to go to hell.

But most people don't know this, and if you get a grip on it, it can change everything for you.

Hosea 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 

So here is the knowledge that can save you!

Trying to do better, or saying I'm sorry will not help you.

If you robed a bank, and shot a guard, and he died, and you are in a court of law.

The judge says: Have you anything to add, and you say: Judge I'm very sorry, and I will try to do better.

The Judge will say: So you should, you are going to jail.

Being sorry, and trying to do better, will not help in a court of law.

We can not bribe GOD, with good actions, motives, or other stuff.

You need the mercy of GOD.

The bible says: That GOD is rich in mercy, to all that call Upon Him.

Do you know what GOD did, so we don't have to face hell?

Most people know it, but they don't understand it.

Jesus died on the cross, for the sin of the world.

But most people don't know this:

The ten commandments are called the morale law.

You and I broke the law, Jesus paid the fine.

When Jesus died on the cross He said: "It is finished" meaning the debt has been paid. We broke the law, and Jesus paid the fine.

If you are in a court of law, and someone pays your fine, you can walk, even though you are guilty.

GOD can legaly let you go, even though you are guilty.

The only requirement for you to aquire this is, that you repent from your sins, meaning you are not only sory for your sins, but you turn away from your sinfull way. And trust in Jesus, just like a parachute.

If you are 10.000 feet up in the sky in an airplane, and have to jump out. Why would you take on a parachute?

To be safe, and land securely. Just the same you need to trust in Jesus, and not your own efforts. By flapping your arms, and legs you can not save yourself, you need to trust the parachute.

Proverbs 9:10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 

Philippians 2:12  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It's a good idea to read the gospel of John, and find a good source of information about the life in Christ.

It's not preaching the truth, but preaches another gospel, and another Jesus.

You have to pray to Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to guide and lead you, into the truth.

Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
